Distance? The Macritchie Trails offers a variety of boardwalk tracks and challenging hikes that span out to as long as 11km!
Why should I go? Treetop Walk, a suspension bridge suspended 25m above the forest floor. connecting two of the highest points in the trails. Do take note that it is a one-way traffic so there’s no backing up once you’ve stepped on!
What’s to see? Plenty of wildlife - flying lemurs, treefrogs, long-tailed macaque monkeys. Be wary of the monkeys, they can be quite aggressive as they’re often fed by irresponsible hikers.

Why should I go? Trek through the swamps of the reserve and discover the flora and fauna of the Mangrove Forest Home. There are volunteer tours that you can sign up for weekly to explore this magnificent greenery. (P.s. Currently, the tours are suspended due to the current pandemic)
What’s to see? This wetland reserve contains mangrove swamps, ponds and is also home to 140 species of birds! There are also nature trails where you can spot monkeys and climbing crabs as well. However, there have been rare sightings of crocodiles too, so please be on the lookout!
